Daily Sketches Week 43

[EN] Tauro and Zyp (painting together)

Tauro belongs to a warrior race, but deep down, he is anything but a warrior, aside from his size. He hides his true self beneath his tribe's garb, only keeping up appearances.

In truth, Tauro is an art lover. The large knife he carries at his waist is actually a pouch for his paintbrushes, and the chest he transports (besides being his mentor) serves as a paint-pot. He is always slipping away from the tribe in search of new, interesting things to paint.

Zyp is a mimic whom Tauro rescued on one of his first journeys with his tribe's warriors. He is the spirit of a painter who died hundreds of years ago and made the chest his new home. Living alongside Tauro, he realized the young man's talent and love for art and eventually became his mentor.
